PUR ADHESIVES

PUR glues are one-component thermosetting adhesives that react with the surrounding humidity and the pieces to be bonded.

PUR is a so-called “reactive” adhesive because a chemical reaction is required for the strong adhesive bond to work.

Polyurethane hot melts are increasingly used in carpentry and industries (cabinetry and furniture making, woodworking, construction). This is because PUR hot melts are non-toxic, quick-setting, offer excellent resistance to temperature and atmospheric agents and are convenient for any volume requirement.
